From Beginner to Master
Why I started my course:
Here are some facts about me. My name is Aurelie Maron and I’m a passionate Graphic Designer and Pole Dancer from the Gold Coast. After graduating from university, I quickly went on creating my own business and started teaching both design and pole dance. Even before I started university, I was determined to take every opportunity in life and figure out the best way to get better at what I do. I’ve always been that kind of person that would do something only if I was good at it. I was excellent at playing piano, drawing, dancing, philosophy, studying, basically at anything that I told myself I wanted to do. Or may be I was good at what I was doing because I was doing what I loved. Either way, I never really relied on talent (a subject I will cover in my course) and worked hard for everything I achieved.
Hence why people started asking me this kind of questions: How did you get so good at what you do? How do you manage to do all those things and stay so motivated? How do you do it all, do you even have a life? I certainly do. This made me realise that all the things I was doing to improve my skills were the same. Wether it was to get better at playing piano, studying design or learning pole dance, I was always following the same methods.
I don’t say this to brag but rather to show you that it is possible to follow a couple of simple steps to get better at what you do. You have the ability learn and improve new skills, if you follow the right steps and set your mind to it. I felt compelled to share that knowledge with the world and created an online mini course — From Beginner to Master.
The three stage of the course:
There are three stages in the process of this course.
The first stage (module 1), will help you establish clear skill goals. This is where you identify a list of clear and measurable skills you want to work on.
The second stage (module 2) will help you audit your time and resources. Here you will unlock free time in your week and also gather all the resources you have available to work on your skill.
Finally, in the last stage (module 3) you will develop your own 90-day plan to improve your skills faster. You are going to checklist your way to mastering a new skill with your own personalised 90-Day routine.
Each section contains an activity with a printable and fillable worksheet designed to answer a series of questions and build on the material covered in the course.
I have been teaching for a few years now and I get such a kick out of working with people who learn from me. The feeling of reward you get when someone gets something thanks to you is priceless.
